Windows 7, quad core i7 is acting as my server, and I'm running the current version on Emby 3.1.5.0. HD Homerun is the tuner. When I goto the live TV section and search for the series i want to record, (Humans) I see each episode that will be showing. When I click the episode, I see the series button saying "Cancel Series" with the red record circle. It believes its recording the series, but it really isn't. If I click it, it just spins, but I can't cancel the series. This happens on the windows app/webpage as well as the Android app. I have restarted the Emby server as well thinking it was hanging. If I look at my scheduled recordings, I don't see "Humans" as one of them.. Its as if it's stuck. In addition, but not necessarily related, when I use the Roku app, or even web one, I cannot delete recorded shows. I click delete, it acts as if it is deleting, but then they still show in the recorded TV section. Can someone please guide me in the right direction here to fix this? Emby is a fantastic program, and I am really happy with it. I just need to get a few of the bugs worked out on my setup. In this particular log, what activity did you perform and at what time (rough estimate)? Since it is a large log I just want to have an idea what i'm looking for. thanks !

I also tried again right before pulling the log, hoping it'd also show something seconds before I pulled it. The series is called "Humans". I wasn't trying to delete a recording group, maybe I explained poorly.. I wll try it here.. Load emby app on android phone. log in as my user - click live TV - click magnifying glass for search - type in "humans". (it displays all the shows available). I click on one of the SD versions of the show. It then displays the single episode. There are two buttons.. One says "Cancel Series" and the other says "Record". The one that says "cancel series" has a red dot. If I click it, it either goes light grey for a second, or I get a little cursor that just spins forever. It doesnt cancel the series recording. And, it doesnt appear to actualy be recording the series either. If I choose a different show.. "Star Trek" and go through the same motions, when I get to the Start Trek single episode, I still get the "Record Series" and "record" buttons, but both have the "record circle" in white, and if I click "record series" it turns red. if I click "Cancel series" it returns to white. It seems the "Humans" recording specifically is stuck somehow. i though maybe it was a user issue, so I logged in as the two users I'd have started the recording under as well. The individual shows that I couldn't get to delete seem to have vanished after the last reboot, but I still can't get the "Humans" series record to free up. I should add..On the "Humans" recording, it I click the settings gear next to "cancel series" I get the little spinner that just goes green-yellow-orange-blue and it just spins forever. The spinner remains even if I back out of the app. Once I restart the app, and log back in, the spinner will be gone. Thanks for your help. Edited February 3, 2017 by smartaxel

smartaxel 15 Posted February 3, 2017 Author Posted February 3, 2017 I ran the guide refresh. it took 29 minutes but has "cancelled" in blue. It didnt help.. I am re-running it again, because the "cancelled" part seems a little odd. I have an active membership for the guide.

THe Guide automatically cancelling was prob between 10:15 and 10:40pm. The second guide refresh was succesful, however, I still cannot cancel the "humans" recording. It still has the same behavior, and it's still in red. Thanks again. GuideFail.txt
