Mouse Click

Hi

Just thought to post this roblem which I had heard of before.

 

When I launch ET I need to do a mouse click before the remote works, bit annoying.

 

Any up-date or solution.

It seems that ET does not retain focus when launched and can sometimes lose focus after launched. I think the developers are aware and working on a solution to it.

Actually I'm not aware because I do not see this in a test environment (e.g., vanilla windows install). I'm sure there are some combinations of windows settings or things from other software that might cause it but I'm not sure what those are at the moment. If I see it happen though I will be sure to look at preventing it. Thanks !

Agreed. There's been reports of ET not keeping focus and I know this mouse click issue was a problem several months ago. I don't have the issue at present but did several versions ago. I am not a developer by any means but try to report issues when they come about for me along with a log and maybe a screen shot or two. I suggest the OP post a log when this happens to assist in fixing it. In the meantime, what version of Windows are you on and do you hide the task bar? If you hide it change that and report back. It cleared up a similar issue for me.

is it possible that production deployments are being done from different staging environments? This might explain when some of (not all) the old known bugs seem to reappear? Edited February 3, 2017 by PrincessClevage

I am on Win 10, all up to date and ET Stable version. I do have the task bar hidden so will check this and report back.

i also have the same setup with no task bar issues in my setup. In my previous post I was meaning in general but not limited to this thread issue as I have seen several times where past issues have reappeared only to disappear in a future release e.g inability to navigate to setting or profile icon in top right hand corner of ET with tv remote and ET appearing not in full screen after resume from low power state (never use to happen) etc
