hstamas 179 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 If I'm on the main home screen and I try to navigate to the upper right user icon (the silhouetted person) so I can get to the settings or log out etc. I cannot navigate to it. If I'm in a movie detail screen I can get there but not from the home screen. I can only get to the search icon. Pressing right from there does nothing.
Luke 42078 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Hi, thanks for the report. What resolution are you running, do you know?
hstamas 179 Posted February 2, 2017 Author Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) Full screen as far as I can tell. Clicked on the box icon in the upper right corner and it completely fills the screen. This is on Windows 10 so I'm not as familiar with full screen apps on that version. Edited February 2, 2017 by hstamas
Luke 42078 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Ok. I can't reproduce this but will keep an eye out for it. Thanks.
inzombyac 69 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) I have the same issue fullscreen or windowed at 1080p on the Windows app (standard install not Windows store). I usually use the backspace key on my remote to get to the settings menu from home. On some of my profiles with large numbers of libraries I can get around this by going to the farthest right one and then hitting up. That seems to go directly to the profile icon. Oddly enough it works fine in the browser. Edited February 2, 2017 by inzombyac
inzombyac 69 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) Not sure what the OP is using, but I was able to fix this on my Windows 8.1 machine. Since the machine was hooked up to a TV, the scaling sets were set to "Larger". I dropped this down and now I can navigate to to user settings. I have a similar machine on Windows 10 and this one was unaffected. Edited March 3, 2017 by inzombyac
Luke 42078 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Thanks. I had a feeling it was only at some large system zoom setting.
hstamas 179 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 I'm on Windows 10 and it was in fact set to scale 125%. I don't have ET installed ATM but will try it out again and report back if it works with scaling set to 100%.
hstamas 179 Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Conformed that if the "change the size of items" setting in Windows 10 is set to 100% the user icon is accessible from every screen.
