Live TV Fullscreen problem

Got some problems with fullscreen in Live TV

 

If you are in Live TV and try to go fullscreen, then return to normal screen, then try to go back to fullscreen, the fullscreen button (both on the OSD and the main window) becomes unresponsive. 

 

It only happens in Live TV. Behaviour is normal when viewing movies.

 

Running Emby Theatre 2.5.38. Using MadVR as the renderer to get deinterlacing.

Hi, welcome. I just did some testing and couldn't reproduce but I will keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the report.

Thanks Luke. Tried to replicate on another system. Using MadVR as the renderer, this system just crashes when I try to go fullscreen. Audio continues to play, but video immediately freezes, and then after about 30 seconds or so the app crashes. Switch back to auto (which I assume means EVR) and it all works again, but I get no deinterlacing with auto / EVR.

OK, so upgraded the radeon drivers on the crashing system to latest from AMD and it no longer crashes when trying to go fullscreen with MadVR. However, it now behaves identically to the first system, whereby going fullscreen then windowed "breaks" the fullscreen function. Does not matter what the renderer is.

 

Also just worked out that auto / EVR is deinterlacing in full screen. It is not deinterlacing in windowed.

Thanks for the report. I am still not able to reproduce the loss of fullscreen features but I will do more testing. Thanks.
