tvheadend plugin: rescan channels

Recommended Posts

Hi

Until a few weeks I started to use the tvheadend plugin.

Everything works fine but today I changed the Channellist of my tvheadend.

I changed some channelnumbers and deleted some channels. My kodi recognised it perfectly but in emby the old order and the deleted channels are still there.

How can I reorganise the livetv channellist in emby?

Try removing the plugin, refreshing the guide, then adding the plugin back. Thanks !

Thanks for the very quick answer!

- uninstalled the tvheadend plugin

- restart emby

- refreshed the guide

- installed the tvheadend plugin

- restart emby

- refreshed the guide

Now everything is fine again! :-)

Hi @@whytea. have you gotten the tv icons or picons to work through the tvheadend interface?

Posted

No sorry. For me it only works over the emby interface.

@@Luke is there a chance of this being rectified or is it how you want the live tv plugins to work.

We will review it for a future update, thanks.

Since the last update to version 3.2.1 the channel picons appears automatically.

Thanks for that!

But if you want to change the channel order or a picon of a channel you have to do it like above this.

- uninstalled the tvheadend plugin

- restart emby

- refreshed the guide

- installed the tvheadend plugin

- restart emby

- refreshed the guide

@@whytea, not if you do those things using the Emby web interface.

Of course you are able to change the picon manually by using the emby webif to change the picture. But if you change the picture within tvheadend emby don't recognise it.

Even if there wasn't a picture before.

And if you change the channel number or delete a channel within tvheadend emby don't recognise it.

The only way I found is to reinstall the plugin like mentioned above.

We'll improve this for a future update, thanks.
