znoopy 0 Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Hi, i have used the subtitles auto download option for a year and it has worked flawless but about 2 weeks ago it stopped download, i got no errors and i tested to re enter my opensubtitles info but still wont download, anyone got any ideas for me ?
Abobader 3470 Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Good day, As a test, for titles it do not download, manually from the title option edit subtitle and see if search found, if it dose and download it then go back and do library scan and when it end post the server log. I do not use auto anymore, but some time download delay but in the end as you said, it done without problem. My best

I looked also at /var/lib/emby-server/config/subtitles.xml and there is a field with the username and a field with the encrypted password. Can I try something else?I tried logging directly at the opensubtitles.org site and credentials are correct.

JunkStar 11 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Im getting the same error on the latest beta version of Emby Server running on Windows Server 2016. Re-entered my opensub credentials. Deleted subtitles.xml and still dosnt work.

Luke 42083 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 There are some 503 errors coming from open subtitles which translates to server unavailable. that could mean it was temporarily unavailable or perhaps you've exceeded the free daily limit of subtitle downloads. In any event, the best thing to do is just allow the scheduled task to run each day and gradually Emby Server will continue to download them. To be honest the log looks fine though, because there is quite a bit of successful traffic to open subtitles and only a couple request failures. Also in server subtitle download settings check the various filters that dictate if subtitles will be downloaded for a particular video.
