timers.json is it ever cleared?

Hi

I was looking around trying to find out where forthcoming recordings are stored to try and remove my orphaned scheduled recordings discussed in another thread with regards to m3u channel id changes.

Is timers.json the right place?  Or are they also stored in a db?

If so it appears to have all recordings from inception in it.  Surely this will eventually impact performance unless regularly cleared out?

Could I have an answer please?

Is this the right place to look for forthcoming records?

Does it get cleared?

As per the 1st post in this thread and a thread in another area with regards to orphaned scheduled recordings.

Thats the problem I was looking to fix.

It appears the scheduled recordings are in this file.  Is this so or not?

The supplementary question is does this file ever get cleared because it looks as thtough the 1st timer is the 1st thing i ever recorded in emby at the beginning of December.

I just cannot understand why my questions are so difficult to answer easily !!

yes/no right file?

yes/no it never gets cleared?

I really do think my 1st post in this thread explained it quite well and adequately.
