Good to everyone,

I'm doing an apt-get update and upgrade to my ubuntu 16.04 and it does not update me.

I've always been upgraded to the last one I have that is 3.1.2.

some help?

Attached image, where you see:

1: dpkg -s emby-server | Grep Version (for emby-server version)

2: sudo apt-get update

3: sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Yeah, I had problems with that too @@Luke

I ended up manually removing the Emby package using dpkg and download the .deb so I could manually install it.

Thanks for the report guys. We will resolve this very soon by moving to 3.2 and adjusting our process so that it doesn't happen again. Thanks !

Hey guys,
What's the resolution on this issue? I'm still affected by this. The installed version is 3.1.2.0 and running 'apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade' doesn't update Emby.

FYI, I'm using Ubuntu server 16.04.

Please advise.

Hi. I followed the procedure sualfred

on this issue: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/44178-omv-3-emby-server-31283beta131/

Another solution:

1. sudo nano /var/lib/dpkg/status

2. find the emby-server entry block and remove it

3. save the file

4. apt-get update

5. apt-get install emby-server

regards

First of all sorry to accidentally report your post, I read the word "Report" as "Reply" and I've put "Thank you very much, it worked like a charm" and then submitted it!!

But seriously thank you. :)
