Watched Status Problem

I have a bunch of movies that are marked "Unplayed", even thiugh they have been watched. Funny thing is that they do not show up in the list when you filter the list to only show unplayed movies. So it seems that it knows they have been played yet their is no check mark on the movies. Same results in the Web Browser and Theater.

What happens if you click the check mark on the detail screen, how does that affect things?

I can check it off and all works fine. The check mark appears and it acts like it should.

 

But I have no easy way to go through 800+ movies and fix them all because I can't sort them as unplayed as they don't show up in the list.

Well do the show up when you filter as played?  Then you could use multi-select to mark them.

They do show up yes, along with hundreds of other  movies that do have the check mark. So I guess the answer is that this is going to be a really long process to fix them. I seem to have a lot of issues the watched statuses changing on my, I hope my recent switch to NFO  files and using Emby to do my meta data will end this problem.
