thatoneguy99 33 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 I have parts of shows and seasons in different folders. Basically I had a hard drive that filled up. I added another one and changed my sonarr location to the new one. So some episodes are on one hard drive and some are on another (same show). In the Emby webapp and on other Emby apps (AFTVand iOS) it shows it as one single show and all episodes under its specific season. On Kodi, with this plugin, it splits them up into two different "locations". So I end up with two entries for the same show but with some episodes in one and some in the other. Is there a way to correct this so that it shows one location? Other than moving files around into a single location. I wish I had setup LVM or something from the beginning but I'm over 10TB and not about to format any HDDs for that. I noticed that if I look at the TV Shows "name". The one that the plugin gives it. It's all random letters and numbers. With that, each folder location has a different one. I assume that it's because they are physically on two different hard drives. Any help is much appreciated. If this is known behavior, but fixed in the beta, I will give that a shot. Thank you sooo much for your hard work. Without this plugin I wouldn't have a media player in my living room, because there is no Linux Emby Theater. So again thank you!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

thatoneguy99 33 Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 So If i perform a local database reset then it will fix this problem. The next time it does a sync though it will go back to multiple entries. Doing another manual sync does not correct the problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks again!
PhyberApex 16 Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Once you set up and do a full sync you need to do one more manual sync to have all the different location for the some series show up in the merged entry. This was due to a change on the server to auto merge all the instances of the same series into the same item, this allowed you to have your show split across multiple location and the server auto merge then into the one entry for you. Unfortunately the Addon needs to do a full sync (like what you do at first install) and then you need to do a manual sync (from the addon menu) to have all the difference sources merged into the one series in Kodi. Try that and let me know how it goes. This worked for me with the same problem (Different folders for different seasons). Thanks!
