b0mb 36 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Hi! I might found a bug caused by the kodi addon. I am using the latest docker beta of Emby on OMV3 and latest libreelc build on my NUC. When i build my Database from scratch movies with HD-Soundtrack only show DTS instead of DTS-HD for xmpl. After playing the movies the right format ist shown in Kodi. Emby itself seems to scrape the movies right as it show DTS-HD, MA or whatever in the Filminfo in webview. Cheers! b0mb
b0mb 36 Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 you might have stream extraction turned on in Kodi, this will update the item when you play it to the actual info Kodi finds in the file. It's no fresh installation and I've never heard of that neither this problem appeard before... ^^ Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk
b0mb 36 Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 Settings->video->file list->extract thumbnails and video informationOK I'll try later. Never seen this option.... Thx! Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk
b0mb 36 Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 This won't fix your initial problem of them being wrong but it explains they update when you play a file. The root cause is probably codec mapping in the addon but I am only guessing ATM. You are right... The options are checked but disabling brings no change... Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk
sualfred 677 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 (edited) Never noticed it, but he is right. Example: DTS-HD HRA is mapped to DTS. As soon as the playback is started, it will be updated. DD+, TrueHD are mapped fine. Edited January 25, 2017 by sualfred
