trying to load media for a trip

I installed Emby server a few days ago, paid for the monthly server cost to try it out, and I'm now trying to get the sync working, on my Surface Pro 2, and my wife's Android tablet.

 

When I install it on my SP2, it installs the Theatre, I can play files fine, but it doesn't show up in the devices list.  When I add my Note4, it shows up after a refresh, and I'm able to sync to it.

 

2 Questions, Is it possible to sync to my SP2 with Theater, or do I have to buy Ember, and any reason why my SP2 wouldn't be showing up in my devices list?

Another thing I just noticed, my SP2 is showing in Active Devices as Windows 14.14393, but not in the device list
