Installer Switch to Skip .NET 4.6.2 Check?

Can we please get a switch for the installer to bypass the .NET 4.6.2 check?

 

I ask because, like many others, The install fails with complaints about .NET

 

Yes, I've read all the many forum Posts about how to fix your .NET

 

However, I've used all the tools for .NET Development which checks, test, and verifies that your .NET is installed, is working correctly, and that there are no errors.

 

Even so, I still tried all the fixes, but to no avail.

 

The .NET 4.6.2 tools still check and verify that all 4.6.2 features and framework are in place and working correctly. Everything says it's fine, except Emby

 

 

BTW: Here's all the tools to check all and any .NET installs, repair them, remove them, etc. This could be very handy to many, except it does not seem to fix the Emby installer issue.

 

Also, as a note, if I launch the portable Emby, it comes up and works perfectly.

Hi, the portable download does not use the installer so that's a way of eliminating it if you wish.

Yeah, that is the version I am running now. Doesn't the Portable version not auto-update?

 

Also, do you see any reason why Emby fails the .NET 4.6.2 check on my PC (via the logs) ?

It will auto-update, but it is hit and miss depending on your system.
