Low .mkv audio in MBT

Hi guys,

 

i get really quiet audio in MBT using .mkv and was wonderin if there was any changes i could make to increase volume, LAV audio filters don't seem to have an option to do so

Are you doing any down mixing? Are you bitstreaming or using PCM? I recall there being a setting in LAV Audio to normalize channels, maybe try that.

no - i've just left the LAV filters settings at default (when it installed with MBT) i will try playing around with the down mixing. thanks

I have always had a problem with low audio level in WMC and MBT.

Got my htpc connected to my tv with a hdmi cable.

The only way for me to get a normal level on the audio when playing mkv-files is to check the loudness equalization box in HDMI Output properties in windows audio settings.
