Rowlett 9 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Hi guys, i get really quiet audio in MBT using .mkv and was wonderin if there was any changes i could make to increase volume, LAV audio filters don't seem to have an option to do so Thanks
Jdiesel 1431 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Are you doing any down mixing? Are you bitstreaming or using PCM? I recall there being a setting in LAV Audio to normalize channels, maybe try that.
Rowlett 9 Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 no - i've just left the LAV filters settings at default (when it installed with MBT) i will try playing around with the down mixing. thanks
Getumzz 13 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I have always had a problem with low audio level in WMC and MBT. Got my htpc connected to my tv with a hdmi cable. The only way for me to get a normal level on the audio when playing mkv-files is to check the loudness equalization box in HDMI Output properties in windows audio settings. 1
