lifespeed 42 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 It is 7:43 PM and a recording on channel 65.2 that ended at 6:30 PM is still tuned and shows as an active recording. The file is 288 MB in size, is not increasing, and does not show a time length using Mediainfo. I think this sort of thing has happened before, but I am trying to include as much information as possible to assist in debugging. Luke 42077 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Hi, yes it looks like we tried to stop the recording conversion process and for whatever reason it did not stop. I will double re-enforce this with a process kill if the graceful close does not respond. thanks !
lifespeed 42 Posted January 20, 2017 Author Posted January 20, 2017 Thanks. Is this likely to be a shortcoming of ffmpeg, or is it being fed a bad .TS recording that makes it choke? Not that it shouldn't handle bad input gracefully.
