I may be ignorant on this, but does the latest Roku firmware update allow the Roku Emby app to use https?

Hi @@roberto188, it is still early and we have not done a lot of testing on that yet. Try it and report your feedback !

Did not work for me.  If only universal SSL were supported...

Is a change required on the Emby side to make this work?  I generated a cert on my linux Emby box via LetsEncrypt.  SSL works with browsers, iPhone, and Apple TV 4 (Emby Beta).  But getting the error: "-60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate, on any Roku device.  Thanks!

Jdiesel, do you just add your server on Roky Emby using https://serveraddress:8920 ?  What Roku's do you have?

I am using a letsencrypt certificate and a domain name. I connect over port 443.

I have Roku 2, 3, Premiere and and Premiere+'s, all work fine

Do you NAT to 8920, or you change your Emby port?
