View download progress?

Am I missing something, or is it really not possible to neither view progress on downloading a file nor stop it?

No, not yet. When you use Chrome, Chrome gives you the UI that you're accustomed to. But when you use Chromium like we are embedding it, you have to bring your own UI and we just haven't gotten to that yet. Perhaps it is better to just remove the feature for now until we have that.

Hi Luke. Thanks for the reply. Sadly I can't get the download to work with Chrome. Nothing happens when I press "Download".

Are you sure? Can you elaborate? I just tested with no problem found.

Sure.

- I open up Emby via http://nas.[mydomain]:8096/web/home.html

- I chose a random video

- I click the three dots and select "Download"

 

And nothing happens. I run Chrome version 55.0.2883.87 m (64-bit).

 

Same story on three different computers. I have of course enabled "Allow media downloading".

After more testing I've got it working. The cause seems to be a popup blocker, even though the page has been white-listed and the popup blocker disabled.
