I would love to see the option for airplay in the future.  At least part of Theatre.

+1 for me. I used n still have the MCE airplay plugin installed but for whatever reason it broke n I dont think its still being supported so I haven't bothered trying to get it running again.

I have both an iPad and a android phone, my iPad stays by the tv n always loved how easy it was when I found something on youtube to easily send it to the tv

Isn't AirPlay sending something directly to an AppleTV device?

Technically that was apples intention but there are programs that allow the PC to become an airplay client. I used this plugin http://madeformediacenter.com/m4mc/app.aspx?id=864e510a-fc6d-42d0-a55e-ae1c3b7f901a

It worked great, automatically overriding whatever was playing in WMC and showing whatever I send using airplay from my iPad without having to turn on any settings but it hasn't been supported in years and no longer works for me. XBMC also includes an option in the settings to turn it into an airplay receiver. When turned on XBMC shows up on the drop down menu of available clients on my iPad and sending a video from the iPad automatically overrides whatever was on XBMC at the moment without having to turn on any other settings

Isn't this already accomplished with the Play-to function of the server?

No, with airplay the server or more likely MBClassic or MBTheatre would become the receiver always listening for an airplay signal to be sent from an apple product. So for instance say someone sends u a video link in an email or Facebook or whatever, u can start the video on ur phone then click the airplay button and watch the video on ur tv instead.
