ET Stopped playimg video

I'm on 2.5.36

Playing any media will start, the audio begins and the navigation bar behaves normally, but the video won't play, the detail page of the media file just stays on screen but dimmed.  When the navigation bar times out and is supposed to become hidden, it just goes into some weird ghost image:

ET is not usable for me at this point.Tried rebooting PC but it doesn't fix it. Any ideas on how I can fix this?  Wondering if it's related to this issue:

I am having this exact same problem as well. Tried restarting computer, restarting server, reinstalling Emby Theater, all with no effect.

Playing through Web app and Chrome still works fine, so it seems to be only Emby Theater having issue with playback.

I can hear the video starting to play in the background, but the Emby Theater interface stays up and not the video player.

Encountering the same issue.  There are no errors in the log so I can only assume there is a problem with this version.  Would be nice if there was an easy way to revert back to the previous version when this happens.

Hey guys, can you post screenshots of your audio and video settings? And describe your hardware configuration?

I'm also just started to see this happen. All was working fine until the latest update installed this evening (2.5.36).

Video settings are:

Hardware Acc: Auto

Video renderer: EVR+ (but also tried all the others as I had this issue when first installed with the default settings)

Output range: PC (0-255)

Change Monitor Refresh rate: No

Filter Set: Stable (Also tried Edge)

Via madVR button - Smooth motion mode: none

Hardware:

Video: Onboad Intel HD Graphics 530

Thanks,

Adrian

Fixed on my end as well. Also, just gotta say I don't know if my setup is just being nice right now or if something else changed, but the loading time is insane! Things are popping up faster than ever. Thanx Luke, quick responses and same day fixes, you guys rock!

Wow, everything loads super fast, even on my low powered Windows 10 microPC.  One thing that I have noticed, every time I download and install a new version, it does not over write the existing version.  I have to manually uninstall the prior version.

Hi Luke

Why wouldn't our systems just update from 2.5.36 to 2.5.37 automatically?

Yep, fixed the problem.

Tested your newest Emby Theater using my Vorke V2 (Windows 10) as my Emby server.  Played my BlueRay rip of "Saving PVT Ryan" on my Samsung 4K TV, and Denon AVR, with my Vorke V2 as my Emby client/ server.  Played very well using "Direct Playing".  My AVR was showing Mulit In, instead of "DTS-HD Master Audio", but it played very well.

At the same time, I was playing a live HD TV stream on my Windows 10 Desktop computer, again, it played very well with (Direct Playing).
