New colored boxes on Home Screen thumbnails, their meaning?

Any personalize like this should be optional.  We should not have these rainbow colors forced on us.

 

If you compare with and without it looks much more professional without the rainbow colored boxes.

 

And its not even consistent throughout, for example you can select a view to not have those colored boxes under the Movies section, but not under Genes as there is no Options menu under Genes.

 

Please make this and any future cosmetic personalization optional, for those of us who are color blind its especially awful.

 

 

 

 

It looks great... The colors are a blend of colors found in the image above them.  So they are not bright pink unless the image is bright pink.   It's a good move.

@@denz they have never been enabled for iOS. It's not fast enough.

I liked them too...   i think a bunch of people complained that it looked bad so they removed them.
