Tur0k 148 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) Hey, guys, I have been using Emby Theatre for about a year now and love it. I started out using the Emby Server as the backend management tool and then used Kodi on the front end as I was comfortable with the Kodi Interface. I am trying to make a greater effort to use the Emby Theatre application. My devices are primarily Windows and 1 test Linux-based media streamer. I just loaded the Emby Theatre application on our Xbox one. the app seems to load quickly, but it would appear that not all of my media is supported. It seems to have some trouble with H264 MP2/AAC files they just don't play at all. MPEG4 files seem to play without issue. My environment is relatively simple. Emby Server is running on a Windows System hosted on an AMD CPU and an ATI 6850 card. I am using the latest FFMPEG codecs that were recommended. I was unsuccessful getting any type of hardware transcoding and have shelved that idea until I can get an Nvidia Video card in the system. So currently only doing software transcoding. I have made no changes to the default settings in Emby theatre on the Xbox one. Does anyone know if this is a limitation of support on the Xbox one, my old Server hardware, or do I need to make a change to the configuration on the server or application?
