Synch problem

I have used emby for over a year now, running the server on a windows machine and use raspberry pi3 to stream on my tv.

Havent update the emby addon for while and now when i did it i noticed it was a bit changed with the login, i have tried all ways,

i see the user login in the emby dashboard so far so good but it wont sync with the server. Tried both local and outside my network

so now im asking here, anyone have a clue what to do ? i have the same problem with a fresh install of libreelec and emby addon

Well i tried all different users, and in the dashbord i get user successfully authenticated so i dont think that is the problem, so the "old way" to login is gone ?

Because this new way dont work at all for me, when i reboot it pop up the login window everytime also

I even created a new user (test) and tried to install Kodi on windows with the plugin and still same problem, i get logged in but nothing more after that

is there a how to do with the new login thing ? dont think i missed anything but just to be sure

I want to try to use an old version of the plugin from https://github.com/MediaBrowser/plugin.video.emby/releases

but i just get an error when i try to install the zip file, do i have to do anything special here ?

Ok ill try to explain and include screenshots and log file from kodi

 

I run 16.1 Kodi, installed 2.3.38 version of emby addon, i put in the information that are needed

 

and then select user (Johan)

 

I check with my server and see that Johan is logged in

 

But here is the problem, it wont start to sync against my server, and when i restart kodi it all start at point one again to enter server info and select user, i have tested this

on windows and on raspberry pi3 and its all same problem.

 

with the old way (the picture did i borrow from a wiki page) that you see under here worked flawless

That's fine if you want to support emby server, but the guys and girls that develop the kodi add-on will see none of that sub payment
