Plugin request

Hello, i was wondering if someone could make a vudu plugin for the server?

I have lots of videos on vudu i can watch but nothing has an app to view them with..

Hi, do they have an open API? I am guessing they do not. Their contracts with the movie studios probably do not allow that. Just my guess at least.

i have no idea, i know walmart owns vudu. phones have vudu apps though.

Like I said earlier, most likely it is the movie studios that would never allow Vudu to open up the content to other apps.

it used to be open to every platform. until they were hacked. then they closed it off to everything except consoles and phones.

What you could do instead is use Emby Live TV and DVR to legally record your own movies and watch them within Emby.

i don't have a tuner card or cable. that's why I'm trying to get all the apps i can that has videos online..

Vudu had an API at one point, I believe, but last I checked it was no longer available. But if at some point they provide an API again I too would love to see some sort of Emby Server and Emby Theater connection.
