favourite "heart" icon: how does it work?

Good morning,

I haven't found this information, so I try to ask you:

 

how does the "favourite heart" icon work?

Depending on where I sit in, I change toggle it "red" (typically on a album), toggle it "green" (only on one song), cycle it between red, green and off (while I am playing a song, in the "nowplaying" section).

 

Inside a album, I cannot select more than one song as a "favourite" (green).

 

Just trying to understand how it works, can you please point me to the right direction, please?

Actually the green is a glitch as I just tested toggling and if it is green as soon as you click anywhere else it is white.  So it is a glitch with the  css.

 

There appear to be an issue marking songs as favorites as I am unable to.

 

But Favorites basically just adds everything you select to the Favorites menu on the home screen.

Hi, and thanks for your reply.

Actually marking individual songs as favorites is not working in my environment, only movie or entire albums, not multiple tracks in an album.

The only way I can change favorite status is by playing a playlist, then flagging each desired song from the "bottom now-playing bar".

Will this issue be solved?
