Zekeman 11 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 So I just set up emby and so far it great... A few things that I have to get used to but that being said I have only one gripe... Under Dashboard, when a user watches a TV show it just records only the Episode Name and not the Title of the Show along with it.... Is there a fix for this to record the "Show Name - Episode" in the dashboard activity? Thanks...

Awesome... would be great to see the TV show as well a the episode name..... I am new to Emby so excuse my ignorance but will this fix be in the new update or can I download a nightly type build?

You can see release notes here and if you would like to run one of these releases you just need to go to the website download page and install that version over your current install. Note if you decide to run beta or dev there are sometimes updates that will not allow you downgrade back to stable version without issues. Edited January 13, 2017 by Happy2Play

Luke 42085 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 No you can't, you should do a fresh install on QNAP. The Emby backup plugin can help migrate some settings and data, although you'll have to be careful of it migrating directory paths that shouldn't be migrated.

Thanks Luke, I did do a fresh install on qnap and having a totally different issue now... (is there a beta version of the qnap version you just updated?) But I started a thread in the QNAP section where it belongs... Again Kudos on an awesome project!
