Missing everything after moving a portable installation.

I looked, thru the settings like a million times..

 

Well, that proves that the eyes are the first place you get blind on..

 

I'll fix that, and do a rescan, hopefully that would do the trick.. otherwise I'll be back [emoji4]

Quick update;

 

I created a new user called jobe, because just changing the info don't work.

 

Now it "works", but there are things missing, but I just have to fill them..

That would mean there is a config somewhere that is still pointing there.  So the question would be what is being written to "c:/users/jobe/desktop/mediaserver"

It was there I Had the server standalone.

 

I have however now created a new user called jobe and are moving the standalone installation to that one too see if it solves the issue..

Well, it solved the issue with them metadata, almost, now I finds all the movies, however it needed a total new rescan of all movies.

 

Which is strange, since I this time I took a straight copy of the working old directory, to the new installation of Windows, the same username and everything, same path,.. so I still find it strange that I needed to do a full rescan, but never mind, it works, but it takes a while due the scan..

i play with 3.0.7200 before anything goes to 3.1.2.0

who  cares its the backup, i've reloaded a few times from messing it up....lol

 

I'm really loving the program though
