bobhays 2 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) I have an Emby server running on a Pentium 2030T (I know not very powerful). I didn't really care too much about the quality of streams so on my network I was just running the transcode at Fast or Very Fast and it was working just fine. Recently I've been using out of network and the streams are very choppy. Before 1080p was working fine after changing the speed setting. Now I have to set a 720p video to 480p 420kbps and UltraFast transcode for it to work smoothly. I know the CPU isn't fast or even average but this is just pathetic. Anyone have any tips on how to get better performance or fix this? (it doesn't support quicksync) EDIT: Also it's not my upload speed. I get 5-8 Mbps up and the video has a bitrate of 1.5 Edited January 11, 2017 by bobhays
