file delete issue

Bonjour.

When I delete one file from Homescreen off android app, for example

Lock #3/Documentaries/xxx

Emby go back to Documentaries instead of Home screen (by Design?) and when I push the back button, app go to the detail view off the deleted file with spin wheel and I need quit Emby or play one over file for stop this spin wheel.

I know Unusable can be discuss.

I prefer try to focus on my issues and mostly use Emby with pleasure for browse and manage my media.

1) File delete issue (see first post) still here.

2) When a file is done playing, player go black. If I touch the screen the Progress Bar are on the 0.00 position.

3) Resume broken

I just clear the server and app logs for send to you “clean” ones, but after playing one file and delete it, the Logs folder in android app is empty!

Server 3.1.40 / 2.8.54 app  Fix resume issue.

Black screen after playback not fixed yet.

File delete issue is” better” because now when file is deleted app still go to the detail view of the deleted file with “spin wheel”, but after push back button Emby go back normally to the previous screen without the “spin wheel”.

Update apk 2.8.70 and all my issues still and now Emby won’t play any files from my personal video folder type. (MX Player play all perfectly)

 

I have renew my annual subscription couple week ago …

Here you find Server and Android Log when I play movie Manchester by the Sea (2016) fine and fail for couple of files from my “personal pictures and videos media” library. Hope this time no” 0 downloads”

Back to home last week ,update server and apk no change.

Remove all trace of Emby Server from my WHS 2011.

instal Emby Server 3.2.20.0, 35 Hours of scan Later no change...

Time to move on WS 2016 ? even if the ap run perfectly on my Android TV.

No change mean issues describe from the first post of this topic; except resume issue, still here.

The most annoying is file delete problem:

And since new install of Emby Server I found issue in Chrome (Emby do not remember file sorting)

Change my old Phone for Huawei P8 Lite 2017; same problem. In server logs I found many:

« System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): Une connexion établie a été abandonnée par un logiciel de votre ordinateur hôte »

Luke I understand you can’t fix all user System issue; it’s why maybe the only solution is to reinstall Windows Server and close this topic. Luke let me know, please if I can try some over things.

This isn't a problem:
