Favorite status displayed incorrectly in Now Playing bar of web client

The Now Playing bar favorites "heart" does not seem to properly track the favorite status of the current item unless actively refreshed.  For example, if I am watching a TV show episode and I click the heart to mark the current episode as favorite, then the episode finishes and I start playing the next episode, the "heart" will be lit incorrectly.  If I reload the web page, it correctly shows the heart unlit.

No error messages.
