Is it possible to customize the appearance of the Android Tv app?

Hey,

would like to know if it's in any way possible to change the appearance of the Android Tv app. I think it deserves some Material Design look but I wonder on how to proceed. 

 

I guess this is maybe not possible since the source is not public but still worth asking!

Here's my ideas:

 

the main menu could look more like the youtube app (nothing crazy, a more material design bg, the drop shadows and more material design icons)

the EPG in live tv more like live channels,

Also when in EPG it would be nice to remove the information about the show that now is in a popup window and add it inline in the EPG as it is with live channels

Well remember that our OSD has a number of functions within it. I don't think you want those up at the top. I think your other suggestions make sense though.
