GhostRider 49 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Hi I am using MBC classic launched from Windows Media Center using the new default Chocolate theme. I can see an icon for movie trailers but I cannot see the trailer icon for TV show episodes. Sample example of the folder contents attached. Are TV episode trailers a supported feature? Many thanks
Luke 42077 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 That's not supported. is this something people do? they are supported at the series level but i'm not sure mbc will display that right now.
GhostRider 49 Posted January 30, 2014 Author Posted January 30, 2014 Thanks for the prompt reply. It would be a handy feature to add to the wish list. E.g. the Star Trek TOS series comes with the trailer for each individual episode.
BeppoMonkeyBoy 98 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I have the basics of a plug in in the works that does this, but it only works on the web client at the moment, it uses the available metadata to get the trailers for the series, season and episode, this info is available using themoviedb service.
BeppoMonkeyBoy 98 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 the flash "https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/60735-the-flash#"is a semi-good example of what videos are out there, like most trailers its mostly reliant on you tube.
ebr 16169 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 like most trailers its mostly reliant on you tube. Which, unfortunately, makes them a no-go for EMC.
AdrianW 1058 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 For the few TV trailers that I've downloaded - I've stuck them into a Season 0 folder and manually named the episode something like S00E01 - Trailer.mp4 EMC can display and play these fine.
