Emy/Kodi interfered with IPTV

Hi, I noticed a lag each time that I switch my IPTV channel, so I was curious to see what is been perform under Kodi hood, then I spotted this event in the log report, it appears that each time that I changed or switched channels, Emby.Kodi kicks in, so I wonder WHY would this happen when Emby.Kodi is designated for playing only Movies/TV's, pls advice if I have interpreted the event incorrectly

It will always try to monitor playback, in this case it cannot so fails gracefully. I do not think your lag in playback is related to this at all. I would suspect the lag is down to the live tv backend your using.

It is a known fact that some backends are faster than others...tvheadend for example is very fast

But why monitor IPTV, or PVR, isn't Emby/Kodi design to monitor just Movie/TV shows, when I disable emby the channel switched faster, if you note on the log there is a lag on IPTV between when emby start/stop 22:35:41- 22:36:26, it may not seem a lot, but the lag exist. I WILL also check if this happen when I watch Live TV through DVBViewer PVR, then I shall post log latter.
