Guest asrequested Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) I just discovered this video on youtube. It might be an interesting way to increase your bandwidth if you don't have very much, in your area. Edited January 2, 2017 by Doofus
Rumbaar 13 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Not sure how useful that is ... so buying more access gives you more speed/access. Not really cost effective method for many.

Some areas will only offer a limited bandwidth, regardless of how much you can afford. This is more for those people.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 My provider just increased my speed to 225 down / 25 up. Will probably go up again this year as they try to compete against AT&T's gigabit internet rollout in Los Angeles. The method in the video does work most of the time. If you want to pay for it.
Swynol 375 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 good to know. I was quite lucky that my ISP rolled out fibre to the premises. so i now have my fibre cable internet with a max of 500/50 i only pay for 100/20 and my copper cable which is 8/0.5. I can have both running at the same time if i have both my routers on. however if i plug both cables in to one router then it almost like a redundancy. if my fibre goes down my copper takes over. also a bonus that i only pay for my fibre line. some reason i get no bills or line rental on the copper line.
