Abobader 3470 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Good day, https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Excluding%20files%20&%20folders To exclude a folder from the library scan, simply mark it hidden, or place a file inside named .ignore. My best 1
Heinrichxx 1 Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Hello Super-Tester All songs and videos are in the same folder and subfolders. It is a huge folder. Can the scan exclude automatically filenameextensions like mp3 etc and include avi etc. That would be much easier. Thank you Heinrichxx
Abobader 3470 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Good day, That not possible, I suggest you organized your media, fast will be you simply moved all the media you do not want it to be scanned to another folder, then create another library for it, and then: Click on your account image (top right on the emby server dash) the n go to "Home Screen" and in "My View" select the 2 libraries then click on "save", and you can browse then as on library: Here you will get what you looking for, a library with library scan, and library without library scan in one item view. Hope I explain it in clear matters. My best
Heinrichxx 1 Posted January 3, 2017 Author Posted January 3, 2017 Hello Super-Tester Thank you for your answer. I will try it and see. It is mixed Content so it will be a big work to separate all the Music and Music-Videos Regards Juan 1
Abobader 3470 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Good day, I know it take time at first, but afterword, it pay off Also you can make many libraries and link them all to one view library. My best
Heinrichxx 1 Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Hello I found a solution. 1. Use a tool that shows all extensions in directory/subdirectory 2. Use File Fisher to move to another place including creating same directory structure. Hope this helps others. Regards Heinrichxx
