benaus 4 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Hi all, Let me start by saying Happy New Year Been using Emby Server on Centos for a while now and love it as a media server I am currently using it to sync with Kodi as well The issue I am having is in regards to TV Shows that suddenly went missing from the server I have 3 folders that TV Shows come from on 3 different HDDs Since the last update, I am sure it was available before, I have lost the TV shows from one HDD I have tried re-adding, refreshing the whole library and such but with no luck I went through the logs and there doesn't even appear to be a reference to the folder in there I have attached logs pre update and post (Please note, I have created a ZIP file for the logs are some are quite large and there are 9 of them) Logs.zip Currently running: CentOS 7 Emby 3.1.2 Media mounted in Linux using NFS from NAS Please let me know if you require further information (I hope I haven't been to vague!!) Thanks in advance
Luke 42077 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Hi @@benaus, you're saying they've disappeared from the emby web app or just emby for kodi?
benaus 4 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) Hi @@Luke It appears that they have disappeared from the Web app as well being unavailable in KodiIt looks as though the server can't read the folder that the media is inPermissions seem fineSent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Edited January 3, 2017 by benaus
benaus 4 Posted January 3, 2017 Author Posted January 3, 2017 (edited) I am running up test VMs Is there anyway to get hold of older versions of emby-server? I wish to test on CentOS 7 but it seems only the latest package is available when I run yum list available emby-server --showduplicates I get the following output showing only the latest version (I may be using the yum command incorrectly) Available Packages emby-server.x86_64 3.1.2-12.1 home_emby I just want to see if it is an issue with my network or file storage so I thought testing with older versions may help diagnose my issue Thank you for your time UPDATE: Hi @@Luke I have run up a FreeBSD VM and installed Emby Server The version installed is 3.0.7300.0 The folder full of media that isn't showing up on the current version shows up here I also ran up two CentOS VMs and installed the current server version and the media isn't showing I will attempt to update the FreeBSD version to the new version tonight and see if the media dissappears Edited January 4, 2017 by benaus
Luke 42077 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Hi @beanus i do not think you need an older version of Emby. Can you please show us what the folder structure looks like? Screenshots would be very help. Thanks !
benaus 4 Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Hi @@Luke It appears that I have lost the source folder again, even on the FreeBSD I remotely logged into my server and removed the failing source from the TV Shows library and created a second TV Shows library So far so good with the second library This isn't an issue for me to have multiple libraries as the server software is smart enough that it still puts everything together into the "TV Shows" category I will be back home tonight and will run up a new CentOS installation and create the libraries again, this time creating the two TV Show libraries I will supply the requested screenshots when I can and update this topic further when I return home EDIT: Fixed spelling mistakes!
