Permanent Transcoding

I think there should be an option or plugin to permanently transcode to a format that you use mostly ie I transcode everything to MP4 to direct play to chromecasts and it cuts down on my CPU usage I have like 10 users on my server

Can't you do this with the "SYNC" feature?

 

Though, Handbrake is free and can handle this work.

@, the folder sync feature can help with this by creating additional copies that are pre-transcoded:
