Request - Live Tv -Hdhomerun - Select channel to use

Hello,

I have a hdhomerun, emby find this.

 

Emby add all the channel in emby, but i can see all channel because it's a payed channel.

 

 

for exemple , i want to remove CANAL +, L'Equipe21, and CANAL+ SPORT. Because i don't have subscription for this channel and i can't see this flux

 

 

Can you add a option to deseable a channel ?

What you may want to do then is go to your hdhomerun web interface mark the channels you want to keep. Then in Emby tell it to only import these channels. Steps are listed below,

 

HDhomerun Steps:

Go to the tuner web interface

Select Channel Lineup

Click the star next to the channels you want to keep

 

Emby Steps:

Then in Emby

Go to Live TV

Select the tuner

Click the check box next to Restrict Channels marked as Favorites.

You need to run guide refresh, once you block the channels in the HDHR software

thanks @@mediacowboy and @. Your two methods are the opposite. And I have problem with the first methodes

 

1) I can't select the star in the web page of the hdhomerun, because a channel is missing from the list.

 

 

you can seed the channel 4 (canal +) is not in the list. But the chanel 4 run no problem with tvhendend.

 

 

So I can not use the method of the stars to have all my chanels in emby

 

But the methode of block chanel in the web hdhomerun is ok

Have you tried rescanning your channels? You could use Emby for your TV.

I understood why it does not work all the time

 

In france canal +, is not free all day.
If you run a scan for a period of not free canal+. The channel does not appear in the list.

+1 for the request to "disable" channels imported from the HDHR in emby itself.

 

We have freeview here in the UK and there are a lot of channels that we NEVER use or would never want to use and there should be an easy way to disable them from displaying in the emby guide.  Add the disable option to the channel mapping screen,

If you want to disable a channel, you need to click on the yellow star until a red X appears. I think you need to do it twice.

 

I have the ADULT channels disabled on my HDHomeRun device and they're never seen in Emby.
