Pause button on Emby Android TV player

Whenever I hit the pause button while watching a show on Emby, it pauses just fine. But to resume the show, I have to press pause, play and then pause again.

 

Is that a known issue?

I've noticed this since the last update. for me I have to press play twice to get things to play from paused. I have a Nexus Player.

What exact version are you running?

 

I am running 1.3.10a on my Fire TV but also have no issues on my Xiaomi MI 3 box either.

I see the same thing on Stable Server, and latest Android TV client.  I have to click play twice to get it to resume.

Was reported in beta thread as well.

 

When I'm using exoplayer and I pause playback, I have to press play twice to get it to start again.

 

With VLC, it's only once.
