Collections not filtered by what's accessible in the user's library

The android app has a Collections tab in my movies folder but it displays all collections available to all users, not just the collections available to the current user. The server should never send content that is not allowed for the logged in user so this seems to be a serious "permissions" bug in the server.

This will be reviewed for a future release, thanks. In the meantime, it does not expose the movies, only the collection folder.

Is there any way to turn off collections on the server anymore? I can only find the "group movies into collections" option but that doesn't make the collections tab on the android app, nor the contents within, go away.

 

I assume "this will be reviewed for a future release" means "don't expect this to be fixed anytime soon" so I want to just eliminate the feature altogether, as much as I otherwise like it.

I had the auto box sets plugin installed, so uninstalling that will take care of my problem for now and I'll just hope the bug is fixed sooner than later.
