Emby Theater not connecting, Windows 10

Tried to use Emby Theater running on Windows 10 microPC, but only get colored circle going round and round.  It used to work, not sure what has changed.  Just picked an arbitrary video, tried several.

Uninstalled ET then ran Ccleaner and re-installed ET.  Working now.  No idea what happened, but re-install worked.

Played "A Christmas Story" using ET and it was playing OK but was being transcoded.  I then powered off my Denon AVR and as Mark_G says, when I powered up my AVR, the video was one forth the size and playing in the top left corner.

Turning it on and off uses the 19th pin in the HDMI cable. It's the control pin. It turns off the display, and then turns it back on. It's a hardware issue. I bought one of these to help with that.
