KU series TV - install via Appstore only?

Hi,

 

I have a shiny new KU6290.  Just to confirm, the Emby client install for this series is only via the Samsung app store?  No way to directly install?

 

I'm in Canada so I don't see a client in the app store.  Maybe I should have set my country to US during setup...

You could try.  Others have changed their country code and got the app installed using a VPN with no luck running the app afterward.  If you figure it out let us know

Side-loading with Tizen is a lot harder too, though possible if the devs wish to upload at some point.  It's not as easy as just throwing it on a usb like with older models
