PrincessClevage 175 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Hi there My recorded TV seems to have lost the fiction to skip forward and skip backward, both are greyed out. Is there a setting that I should check to enable this function again?

Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 ok, so in this case, the runtime is unknown and that is why the seek functions are not available. Try clicking the dot menu -> refresh. then play the content and see if that helps. thanks !

Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 pretty close, although you could go back to the detail screen of one of the ones you refreshed and see if it now has media info. check the media info from the built in web app instead, since that app currently displays more info at the bottom. thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 try re-browsing to the content in a forward manner, such as going back home then finding the recording again. now that the web app has the full details this is good, this should restore your seeking in emby theater.

I have tried closing ET and re browsing and still the same, also no pictures are shown in the tiles like displayed in the web interface

Luke 42077 Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Are you using server wmc? i think that's because server wmc is sending the recording path back as a url, in which case we don't probe it for media info. i think it can be configured to send back the actual file path.

Is there some setting that I should check specifically?

krustyreturns 191 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 In serverwmc open the 'http service' tab and make sure 'use urls instead of smb paths for recorded tv' is NOT checked (default). You might need to start emby to see the change. Reply Report Edit
