Language selection ignored

Emby Server no longer pays attention to the language I have selected. Regardless of which language I select and how many times I click Save (Spara), the language remains as, what appears to be, Dutch. Has anyone seen this or does anyone know what config file I can manually modify to get it to switch back to English. I'm running version 3.1.1.0.

What browser are you using?  Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

This is happening in Edge and Chrome and most annoyingly when running Emby Theater on Xbox One. I don't beleive the browser cache has much to do with it.

Yes. Tried resetting the browser to no avail. I did some code digging and found that somehow the data in displaypreferences.db for my user got set to language=sv. I never set it to that value, but there it was never the less. Numerous attempts to change it via the normal channels in the web ui weren't successful so I downloaded a SQLite database utility and manually changed it in the database. Obviously this isn't ideal, but it has gotten me past this very annoying issue.

Hi, this @@h8n01, this is resolved in emby server 3.1.2, although if you were affected you will need to delete the displaypreferences.db file, located in the server's data folder.
