Dysan 2 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Hi, im trying to get the live TV working on the web interface. Running MB 3 Version 3.0.5135.31685, Server WMC 1.0.0.16. The WMC server is correcty configured and states it's streaming to the Client, but neither IE/FireFox or Chrome show live tv. The logs of WMC are rather empty, but the MB3 server log's shows errors when retrieving the stream. WMC tries to start several streams after a few minutes adding ^14 (or another number) to the session. The live screen in the browser stays black.
krustyreturns 191 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Post a link to the serverwmc log. But something to check first: if swmc is on a different machine then mb3, make sure the 'recorded tv' folder than wmc uses for recordings is a network folder accessible by the mb3 machine (see 'folders' tab in swmc).
Dysan 2 Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 Ok made the share available to the MB3 server & Client. There are files placed inside \\PCNAME\Recorded TV\TempXBMC\ which both the MB3server and client can read and write But i now get a static image of the live tv in FireFox attached are both the log files. servermwc.log mb3log.txt
Tikuf 663 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 What browser were you using? Was it ie? If so there are some issues with ie try chrome or ff. If not I will need a server log with one single playback attempt. TIA
Dysan 2 Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) I am using Firefox v 26 and watching public FTA channel Nederland 1 HD attached is the log from the time logging in to MB3 web and the ffmpeg log, this one shows some errors to mb3log.txt ffmpeglog.txt Edited January 28, 2014 by Dysan
Tikuf 663 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Ok it is producing extremely low bitrate and only converting at 12 frames per second. What cpu are you running?
Dysan 2 Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 The MB3 server is running a Core2Duo 6750 @ 2.66 Ghz, The WMC is using a AMD Athlon II X2 240e @ 2.8Ghz
Tikuf 663 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Ya it doesn't quite have the horsepower to transcode on the fly (especially with webm)
