Jdiesel 1431 Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 As the title states, the ability to set a custom maximum bitrate would be helpful for those looking to make the most out of a weak internet connection when streaming from a remote server. As it stands there are a few gaps in the available bitrate options that force the user to select the lower option. Rather than adding more app defined bitrates the option to input a custom bitrate would be helpful.

Jdiesel 1431 Posted December 22, 2016 Author Posted December 22, 2016 In my situation I fall between 3.2 and 4.7 which doesn't seem like much but is actually a 32% increase from one to the next whereas going from 10.7 to 12.2 is only a 12% increase. This makes matters worse when a lot of your videos happen to fall right in this range. On a side not my issue may be related to peak bitrate which I am also looking into.
