Server crashes on startup

Hi guys,

I am trying to set up Live TV and I think I caused an issue in doing so. Emby Server won't start, I just get a message saying:

Unhandled exception: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: paths

 

I am trying to pull the server logs but I can't seem to find them. The help post says to go to "%appdata%\Emby-Server\logs" in Windows, but when I put that in to explorer, it says it is an invalid path. I can't remember where I was able to locate them before - can someone point me in the right direction please?

That's a path that might vary for different windows versions. But on windows 10 for example, it is

C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server

Make sure to substitute user with your windows user name.

Remove the vera plugin dll.

Will that delete all my settings for that plugin too? Is the plugin bad?

It needs to be updated to be compatible with the new server. No, you will not lose plugin settings.

Okay thanks. Will it get added back automatically when it is updated or do I need to keep an eye out for it and add it manually?

Thanks for the feedback. The developer is aware it needs to be updated for the new server.
