EmbyTV How to scale up the video

Hi,

 

I am new to emby and have been testing the system out before purchasing a subscription. My problem is that I am using Emby Theatre on my HTPC that is a 4k TV I would like for the LiveTV to scale to the full resolution, but it doesnt. Is there anyway around this? I am using HDHomeRun Connect in the UK and have the guide working fine. All other stored on my server scales up to full screen.

 

Any help would be great.

I think you might be confusing upscaling with zoom level/aspect ratio.  The former is handled by your TV's processor, the latter the software.

​Hi, sorry if I have confused you. I have my windows 10 computer connected via HDMI to the 4k TV when I playback LiveTV it is displayed in a small rectangle with a very large black border. As you say it is the aspect ratio that needs to change. I wasn't trying upscale the picture I just wanted it to fit the screen as it does with my other media.
