Logical operators for Filter?

I like the filter: it's very useful to be able to narrow your choice of movies.

 

Is there a way to use an AND instead of an OR in selecting genres?

 

Example: my younger daughter likes comedies.  Animated comedies are good.  Action comedies generally fine.  Dramatic comedy? -- Not usually.

So something like:
comedy OR (comedy AND (animation OR action))

or even:

comedy NOT (drama AND horror)

Is there an 'advanced filter' somewhere that I'm not aware of? If not, I'd suggest it as a feature though I appreciate it might clutter the gui. Although with a bit of javascript you could make the checkboxes in the filter selection go 'checkmark', 'X', 'clear'. That would at least allow my second case.
