Library not updated after waking up from hibernate.

It probably is a setting in Emby addon for Kodi but I think I missed it or didn't understand the purpose of it.

What happens is that when new media is added to Emby Server and your Kodi system is hibernated and wakes up from that the library isn't synced with new media unless done manual.

When box is online/active, like a RPi I have running 24/7, the new media is there almost instantly.

My systems all running latest LibreELEC beta's (Kodi17) and latest Emby addons. Server is running on Synology and is also latest available.

Any ideas?

I'm still on Kodi Jarvis and updating on wake also stopped working for me about a month or so ago. Did something change?

Is it possible i am using the wrong Emby for Kodi addon?

Should we use the main Emby repo for version 3.0.8500 with Emby for Kodi addon version 2.3.6

And when using Emby version 3.1.254 (beta) we should use the beta repo with Emby for Kodi addon version 2.3.24 ?

No, I don't believe that would be the issue. I'll be looking into it tomorrow. Thanks for reporting.

I also have had this problem. Running the following setups:

1. EMBY for Kodi add-on stable v2.3.6 on LibreELEC for Amlogic v7.2.09

2. EMBY for Kodi add-on stable v2.3.6 on MinixXBMC 16.3

As a workaround I have been running these instances full time

Yeah, the fix is currently in github. I'll be making a new build soon (looking into some other issue right now)

This should be resolved with beta 2.3.25. Let me know.

At least from the log messages it's fixed (didn't have anything for it to update though), thank you!

Just check for updates in the side panel in Kodi > addons.

Thanks Angelblue05, i havent tested if it works now but i did have seen on different boxes that it was unable to use fast sync and needed a full sync to update.

Is that expected behaviour?

I will try to fetch some logs when it happens again.

Check your server logs for the fast sync. Something must have failed. We just added a prompt to let you know the fast sync didn't work. It fallbacks to a manual sync (which was always in place, just without notification)

Don't know what happened but after the addon being updated i'm constantly getting fast sync issues.

Emby log says InnerException: System.IndexOutOfRangeException

And Kodi log says NOTICE: EMBY.downloadutils -> ERROR:: Server unreachable at:

But server is accessible perfectly fine.

It has nothing to do with the addon update. Probably some issue with the fast sync plugin. Try disabling fast sync (on your server or within the emby for kodi addon settings > sync option), then restart Kodi. Does it update correcty?

You're right, it's a Fast Sync plugin issue. More reports over there about this;)
