Genre View

In older versions of Emby when I clicked on the Genres tab in my movie archive it would show all of the Genres and let me click on them and I could use custom artwork for each Genre.

 

Now, instead, it lists the Genres in a long format and give 8 examples of movies within each Genre with a "More" link to access the Genre, and no custom artwork.

 

Is there any way to set this view back to the old way?  I don't like having to scroll 20 pages down to get to Western or whatever on the bottom.  I don't need to see examples, and it makes accessing Genres more cumbersome.

 

It would be nice if Emby Theater supported a similar configuration as well so I don't have to scroll there either, but minimally I'd really like to be able to revert this view in the web client.

Should be discussed in Testing area as this currently is only in Dev/Beta releases.

We want the apps to be consistent and we think this is a better approach going forward. But an option is always a possibility for the future.
